The influence of dinamic action of water, mainly the removal of soils constituents was studied, using two systems of soxhlet columns. One of them with 60 g of the Santiago Soil Series (only the Ap horizon) and the other one with 21 of expansible clay. The experiment was equivalent to 3.98 years and 5.63 years for the Ap horizon and the clay respectively, at the climatic conditions of the Santiago province.
The results showed a very intense loss of bases and decrease in total exchange capacíty for both materials.
This is a preliminary study that will be completed later, considering a greater numher of duplicates and the formulation of a mathematical model.
