In this second paper of the series, the influence of enviromental factors on the development, growth and nitrogen fixation, is analized. Some ecophysiologycal factors of the annual medics, such as percentage of hard seeds, variations in their growing cycle, seed production, and symbiotic nitrogen fixation are discussed, with the objective to understand their adaptation to the Chilean bioclimatic conditions and to give a basic information for future investigations.
