Ulexite applied by two consecutive years at 25 g/tree, caused severe B toxicity symptoms in a drip irrigated experimental orchard, with several fruit crops. Species showed great differences in their susceptibilityto excess B; nevertheless, no differences between varieties of the sames species were observed. Two seassons after the last application, a high percentage of the trees had overcomed the damage and some of them showed higher growth rate than before the B application.
