Seasonal variation in non structural carbohydrates content in F. gradihima en Magallanes

At the Kampenaike ExperimentStation (INIA), Magallanes, in spring (October), late summer (March), autumn (May), and winter (July), both aerial (3 cm) and root (2 cm) sections of F. gracihhima were analyzed. Results indicated that this species does not show specialized reserve organs; this would explain its limited recovery capacity after grazing.
