ABSTRACT
New determinations of insects and acaruses in Chile

At the Entomological Laboratory of La Platina Exp. Sta. (INIA, Chile) many and acaruses collected were not classified. For this, they were sent to foreign specialists or their cooperation was obtained while they visited the Exp. Sta. A list with 34 determinations is given.
Is was found that all the lepidoptera species determined were harmful to plants and that some of the acarus species were natural enemies of phytovorous mites.
