The methods of dry and wet ashing were compared for 73 samples of plant tissues. The results of the latter were higher for the elements Mg, Zn, Mn, in the majority of the cases, but the exception is the element Ca which results were notably lower for the wet ashing method, due to the precipitation of th is cation in the solutions. No considerable differences were observed in these determinations, both for the samples of apples and grapes. |
