ABSTRACT
SODIUM CITRATE AND GLUCOSE USED AS BUFFERS IN ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION IN KARAKUL

The fertility between ewes inseminated with undiluted semen and diluted semen was compared in Karakul ewes. The diluent used for dilution of semen consist of sodiumcitrate dihydrate (2.9%) and glucose (0.18%) in distilled water. The difference in fertility, measured as non return of estrous, was not signifieant.
