Acidulated soapstock (SSA) of sunflower, rapeseed and grapeseed were included at 3%level in a broiler ration and fed to 400 day old chicks (Cornish x White Rock) until 4 weeks of age. The 3 different SSA were added to diets replacing corn at the ratio 1:2, 1:3 and 1:4. These rations were made isoproteic and isocaloric adding wheat middligs. The resuIts obtained showed that SSA replaced COrn in a ratio up to 1:4 with no effects on body weight, feed conversion and mortality. Grapeseed acidulated soapstock replacing corn at a ratio 1:2 gave an average body weight significantly higher than the other treatments. |
