| The effects of DD, Nemagon and Terracur P nematicides on the control of grapeplant parasitic nematodes were studied in three locations: Vicuña (north), Santiago(centre) and Chillan (south) .High population of nematodes in soil samples was found in the three locationsbefore the application of nematicides, being the most common genera: Meloidogyne,Pratylenchus, Helicotylenchus, Paratylenchus, Criconemoides, Tylenchorhynchus andXiphinema. The most effective nematode control was obtained by DD at 750 and 1.000 liter/ha(912.3 and 95,33, respectively) . Doses of DD (500 liter / ha) , Nemagon (25-35 and 45liter/ha ancl Terracur P (100-200 and 300 Kg/ha) did not show an adecuate controlof nematode population and the young grape plants growing on these plots showedroot-knot and crown gall.None of the nematicides produced damage to the young grape plants. |
