Paillaco-INIA is an alternative bread wheat variety, released from a cross made at Carillanca Exp. Sta. in 1986. It is a high quality and yielding variety resistant to stripe rust and moderately susceptible to leaf rust. It is recommended for winter and spring sowing dates in the south of Chile.
