ABSTRACT

Patricio Parodi P.1 y Michael Raczynski v. O.2

Arasán 42-S (tetra-methyl thiram disulfide) in a 10% aqueous solution has a positive effect as a bird repellent to those species present in the central valley of the province of Santiago. However, its effect was clearer on an awned wheat variety, Centrifén, than on an awnless one, Yafén. A second product anthraquinone 80%, showed no repellent effect within the doses used in this experiment.
