The uptake of N, P, K by Sorghum halepense (L.) Pers., Cynodon dactylon (L.) Pers., and Bidens aurea (Ait) Shertt, was determined in two soils of different fertility. Amounts of N, P, K extracted by these weeds were very high, being the highest in S. halepense (L.) Pers.
