The susceptibility of Naupactus xanthographus (Germar) larvae to Metarhizium anisopliae (Met.) Sor. isolates was evaluated at 25, 16, and 13ºC. AII isolates showed high virulence when used in suspensions containing 106 and 107 spores/ml. At 25ºC, the strains IP1 and CM-14 caused the highest mortality. At 16ºC, all iso lates bioassayed decreased their viru lence; however the strain CM-14 showed a promising degree of mortality. At 13ºC, patogenicity was even lower.
