Three trials were done at Los Tilos Exp. Sta. (INIA, Buin, Chile). during the season 1985/86. The sprays were applied at the pink stage, 8 days after (Trial Nº 3). full bloom, petal fall, 18 days and 34 days after petal fall, and 8 days before harvest. The following fungicides gave the best control of monilia on twigs: Sistane (Myclobutanil) 40% WP from 6.25 g; Nustar (Flusilazol) 20% DF, from 20 g; Nustar 20% DF 10 g plus 20 g of Benlate 75 C (Carbendazim) 75% WP; Saprol 20% EC, from 100 ml; Bayleton 25% WP 16 g; Anvil 5% SC, from 25 mi; Benlate 75 C 20 g; Benlate 75 C 20 g plus 180 g of Manzate 200 80% WP; and Topas 100 (Penconazol) 10% EC 30 mI. These fungicides, except Benlate 75 C, that when applied alone didn't control peach leaf curl, also controlled powdery mildew and peach leaf curl. Anvil 5% SC 50 ml; Bayleton 25% WP 16 g; and Saprol 20% EC 130 ml, were affective for the control of shot-hole, in spring. Fruit rots in post--harvest were controlled by: Benlate 50% (Benomyl) WP 60 g plus 120 g of Dithane M-45 80% WP; Benlate 75 C 20 g; Benlate 75 C 20 g plus Manzate 200 80% WP; Sistane (Myclobutanil) 40% WP 25 g; Nustar -20% DF 10 g plus Benlate 75 C; Nustar 20% DF, from 20 g; Saprol 20% EC, from 100 ml; Anvil 5% SC 25 ml; and Topas 100 10% EC 30 ml (this chemical reduced rots only 50%).
