Efficiency of phosphorous fertilizers on pastures stablished in Chilean Andepts

Two long term trials on the application of phosphorous to pastures on Chilean Andepts ("Trumaos") are analysed. Both show that the efficiency of P applied was about 50 to 60%, when the rate of application of P was about 50 kg/ha/year, or less.
