Porcifen, a winter triticale cultivar for the central south area of Chile

Porcifen is the first winter triticale cultivar adapted for the central-south area of Chile, released by the Ouilamapu Experimental Station (INIA). The origen, agronomic characteristics, uses and adaptation are given. This triticale can be compared with soft wheats, and can be used in mixtures or other special uses, such as biscuits.
