Effect of microelements and sulphur application on corn (Zea mays L.) yield and its components

Alfredo Luchsinger L.1

The effect of the application on corn of microelements (zinc, copper, iron and manganese) and sulphur was studied. The analyzeq variables were grain yield, plant height and ear length and diameter. The applied elements had nosignificant influence on the measured parameters, with the doses, soil and climatic conditions of this study, and no deficiency symptoms were observed. These results agree with a previous study done by the author and associates (1981).
