ABSTRACT.
Bovine poisoning with cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capittata)

Luis Moraga B.1 y Arturo Scheidegger G.1

Three cases of bovine hemoglobinuria, without toxemic symptoms, are described. Feeding history, epidemiology, results of c1inical examination and the presence of Heinz-Ehrlich bodies in red biood cells, led the diagnosis of cabbage intoxication. Preventive measures in the case of bovine feeding with cabbage or kale, are discussed.
