Elimination of chioride interference by a substitution alternative in the determination of organic matter in arid soils, by the Walkley-Black method

The elimination of chloride interference by its transformation into HCI and NCCI fumes is proposed, as a method for the determination of organic matter in soils. The results are satisfactory, in comparison with the standar Walkley—Black method.
