Sipa-INIA, a spring wheat cultivar for the central-south area of Chile

A new, semi-dwarf, spring wheat cultivar released by INIA is described. The origin, agronomic characteristics, grain yield, milling and baking qualities, and adaptation area are given. This cultivar offers greater yield potential and better hectoliter weight than cultivars in use inthe area.
