The results of two trials carried on Richard Delicious and three on Red King Oregon apple trees, at Los Niches and Teno, VII Region of Chile, are reported. Fungicides applied were Difolatan 4F, Pallinal 72.5% PM, Rubigan, Baycor 50% PM, Bravo, and Delan F; their effectiveness is given in five tables, for both application systems. Daily levels of primary inoculum were measured with a Burkard trap, observing that these levels are important from September to November, in the VII Region. Ascospore emergence started between 5:00 and 7:00 hours, numbers increasing up to midday, and decreasing thereafter, but being important up to 18:00 hours.
