ABSTRACT
INTERACTION BETWEEN WINTER WHEAT VARIETIES AND FERTILIZER RATES IN THE IX REGION (MALLECO-CAUTIN)

Ten variety x fertilizer factorial field trials were conducted at the IX Region from 1962 to 1965. Both factors showed a strong interaction. At low levels of fertilization varieties showed similar yields, but these were different at high levels. None of the varieties showed a generalized resistence to adverse factors, but one of them showed a specific resistence to winter heaving and weed infestation.
