A field trial was conducted to determine the effects of G.A. on yield and fruit characters of the grape cultivar Moscatel Rosada growing in the Cauquenes Experimental Station, Province of Maule, Chile.
Doses of 0 - 10 - 20 - 30 - 40 and 50 ppm of G.A., were sprayed over the foliage of vines when most of the berries reached a 2mm size.
The results showed that 30 to 50 ppm of G.a. can produce a significantly increase of yield because of the G.a. effects on weight increase of the seedless berries of this cultivar.
