A trial was carried out in order to observe the performance of growing finishing pigs (37 to 100 Kg live-weight) and to find a subtitute of fish meal as a protein supplement. Fish meal, meal and soybean meal were proved each with and without rape seed meal in a factorial experiment three by two by two with eqqual protein level in the diets and offered ad libitum (three protein supplements, two level of rape seed meal 0 and 50% and two sexes). Live weight gains, feed consumption apparent digestibility of diets and carcass characteristics were controled.
