The nutritional deficiencies of 51 soil samples, from the province of Llanquihue, are identified in pot experiments with Lolium perenne X Lolium multiflorum. Most of these soil samples come from the plow-depth level.
The interpretation of the results is made through a fertility diagram. The intensity of these mineral deficiencies is measured through lines of fertility. they follow a semilogarithmic equation of the form: log Y = log A + mX, where X is the accumulated yield (g/pot) of the complete fertilization treatment, and Y the percentage of yield of the incomplete fertilization treatment.
