From October 1969 to February 1970 the productivity of the oat-vetch association was studied with different seed rates at Pecket Harbour. Peragold and V. atropurpurea strains for oat and vetch respectively were used in 5 treatments with seed rates in relation to the different proportions of vetch and oat (0% - 25% - 50% - 75% and 100%) wanted in the aerial part of the mixture which was harvested as forage. A randomized block with 4 replications was used.
