Twenty one crossbred pigs of an average initial weinght of 32 Kg. were allotted at random to 3 treatment to evaluate the eff ot upon growth and feed intake of pigs fed free-choice corn (ground or shelled) and a fortified protein supplement (fish meal).
Treatments were: a complete mixed diet; free-choice of ground corn and supplement, and free-choice of shelled corn and supplement. Pigs were confined to concrete floored pens with free access to feed and water during the 42 days of experiment.
