Arasan 42-S, tetra-methil thiram disulfide, in 10 and 20% aqueous solution, applied 3 times during the development of wheat kernels, offered an adequate protection against bird damage in the central part of the province of Santiago. A second product, 4-aminopyridine, diluted 1:10, and also applied 3 times around and within the experimental area, offered no protection.
