Twenty eight crossbred pigs of an initial weight of 26 Kg were used in this experiment undertaken to evaluate the detrimental effect upon pig performance of rapeseed meal (RSM) diets containing different levels of isothiocyanates. RSM that had a level of 1,8 - 2,8 - 4,1 mg of isithiocyanates per gram of RSM were included at 18% in the diet replacing completely the supplemental protein provided by fish meal.
