As a result of nine forage species and two mixtures analysis date presented in this paper, the total protein, digestible protein, P2O5 and total ashes decrease with the maturity. The CaO content presents a curve with the lowest point at the flowering stage. The crude fibre and the nitrogen-free extract increase as maturity advances. The content of other extract varies with no distinct tendency.
