This report is a contribution to the whole knowledge of the chemical composition of the rapeseed oil meal, and this will allow a better consumption of thisavailable animal feed.
21 rapeseed and 39 rapeseed oil meal samples were analysed. However in the study by factories only 16 rapeseed and 27 rapeseed oil meal samples were consídered, since their origen was perfectly knúkn.
A comparative table of the average chemical composition of the rapeseed and the rapeseed oil meal is given. This table permits to point out ether extract as the principal component of seed (40,64%) and the crude protein for rapeseed oil meal (33,52%). Comparative tables of the rapeseed oil meal obtained from different extraction methods and eomposition tables of rapeseed and rapeseed oil meal from different factories are given. The last tables permit to notice that during the elaboration process protein of seed goes down to 5,67% of lysine in protein in rapeseed oil meal. The average loss is 31,52%.
A eomparison among rapeseed oil meals from different faetories is given and finally a mineral composition of this important feed.
