Brillante INIA, a new rice variety with long and translucent grain

Brillante INIA is a rice variety released from a eross made at Quilamapu Regional Research Center in 1977. It is a rice with long and translucent grain, with a length/width ratio of 2,9. It is semi-late variety, with good industrial quality and low gelatinization temperature.
