Renaico-INIA, alternative bread wheat for the south of Chile

Renaico-INIA is an alternative bread wheat variety, released from a cross made at Carillanca Exp. Sta. in 1986. It is resistant to stripe rust and moderately susceptible to susceptible to leaf and stem rust. It is a high yielding and high quality variety recommended for winter and spring sowing dates in the south of Chile.
