Curi-INIA, a new variety ot black bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) suitable tor mechanical harvest

Curi-INIA is a new variety of black bean released by the food legume program at Centro Regional de Investigación Ouilamapu. it is originated from a single plant selection by size of seed within the experimental line Bat-1554, introduced from the International Bean Yield and Adaptation Nurseries of Centro Internacional de Agricultural Tropical (CIAT). Curi-lNIA has a similar yield to Negro Argel, but with a suitable plant type for mechanical harvest.
