|Claudio Jobet F.1 y Cristian Hewstone M.1|
Tukán-INIA is an earlywinterwheatvariety derived from the exchangeof germplasm between Northrup King Semences of France and the wheat breeding program of INIA. It is the result of three years of selection at Carillanca Exp. Sta. on the cross Klein Toledo/CesarllMaris Huntsman. It is moderately resistant to stripe rust, leaf rust and septoria leaf blotch. The yield is high and its grain quality is acceptable for bread-making.
