A proposed model for equilibrium isotherms

A model was proposed to calculate the equilibrium moisture according to temperature and relative humidity. This model was compared with Henderson Modified and Chung - Pfost models, respectively. The experimental data of rough Oro rice to 10º, 25º and 40ºC were used. The mean and maximum error, standard error and determination coefficient were determined. The proposed model was
H = 8.1091 exp(- 8.54237 x 10-3 T) + [1.29699 x 10-2 exp(1.29484 x 10-3 x T)] x HR)
and it registered the highest precision for estimate the experimental values of equilibrium moisture used.
